BUYER AND MEDIA REGISTRATION FORM – LGBT+ Travel Symposium

Apply to be a hosted buyer / media / content creator on our fully-hosted buyer and media programme from Monday 5th May to Saturday 10th May. All successful buyers/media must fully commit to a compulsary programme of events, including a three day FAM/media tour, all conference and symposium meetings, activities and social events.

Buyer candidates must either already be selling Spain to their clients or can demonstrate a core LGBTQIA+ consumer base to similar destinations. Media and influencer candidates must have a confirmed commission for coverage on the destination or will agree to produce a minimum level of content to be considered.

Interested applicants must apply and be pre-qualified by the organisers, whose decision on who can attend is final.

Travel policy

Your flights will be funded by BasqueTour and their partners. Our travel policy allows funding for economy-class tickets only. To minimise the environmental impact, stopovers shall be avoided if possible. The flight must take place as close as possible to the start and end time of the event or familiarisation trip and only allows return tickets to the departure destination. Travel will need to be booked by our authorised travel agent/representative. Once you have completed this form, you will be put in direct contact with an account manager who will work with you on your flights. We will do our very best to meet any requirements you may have with regard to air travel, but ask for your understanding where this may not be possible. Any upgrades, or specific routing(s) over and above the reasonable average flight cost will be at your own personal cost.

Health waiver
In an ever-changing world of entry requirements and restrictions, I agree to adhere by the laws and regulations of my country of origin and that of Spain regarding disease control. If I have knowingly come in contact with or display symptoms of an airborne communicable disease, influenza or Coronavirus just before the trip that poses a health risk to the participants of the symposium as well as the general public, I agree not to travel. If I come in contact with or display symptoms of an airborne communicable disease, influenza or Coronavirus during and/or after this trip, I agree to immediately inform the organisers to allow for effective contact tracing.

Insurance waiver
I am adequately covered by their own travel and international health insurance policies for a trip of this nature. Should I not have insurance, or prefer to travel without travel insurance, I agree to absolve the organizers, its agents, partners and sponsors of all liabilities should I require medical care, hospitalisation and repatriation.

Mutual understanding

PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT OUR INVITATION UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU CAN ATTEND. Once agreed, BasqueTour invests heavily in your flights and arrangements, which are non-refundable. We will have to recover the costs of your flights from you, if you have to cancel.

I understand that I am attending the LGBT+ Travel Symposium in the Basque Country, Spain between May 5-10th 2025. This invitation is fully hosted and at an investment of the organisors and BasqueTour. By accepting this invitation, I commit to attending the 2-day symposium on May 8th and 9th and its related social events. I also commit to the subsequent FAMiliarisation tour programme between 5th-8th May. I understand that once I accept this invitation, I am committing fully to travel on those dates and am liable for the costs of the flight should I have to cancel
